We have spent sixteen
years inside mills.
Three things we have learned about mill work
Everything runs to a date
Safety week, VPP audit, plant anniversary. Tell us the date, not the deadline, and we will work backwards and tell you when we actually need artwork in hand.
Purchasing is not the buyer
The safety engineer wants the banner; purchasing raises the PO. We are already an approved supplier at many Nucor sites, and we will do your new-vendor paperwork without complaining about it.
Mill environments eat materials
Heat, particulate, washdown. It is why we push ACM over corrugated plastic in production areas, and why UV coating is standard rather than an upsell.
“We have received excellent work and designs with prompt deliveries from Seed Media over the years! If we need anything from calendars, stickers, banners, or other safety information they can come up with a design that fits Nucor and what we need.”Ed Artfitch · Nucor South Carolina

Do you work with steel mills specifically?
Yes. It is most of our business. More than 75 industrial plants since 2010, including Nucor Steel sites nationwide, Vulcraft joist plants, Harris Rebar, Nucor Tubular Products, Cascade Steel and many others.
Are you an approved supplier?
We are already set up at many Nucor sites. If your plant requires new-supplier registration we will complete the paperwork. We have done it many times.
What is the difference between ACM and corrugated plastic signs?
ACM (aluminum composite) is rigid, weatherproof and appropriate for production areas and permanent installation. A reflective coating can be added for dim lit areas and roadways. Corrugated plastic is lighter and cheaper. It is a good solution for temporary or interior use. In a mill environment we generally recommend ACM.
